The Forgotten Art of Communication

It’s a beautiful thing when we recognize our real and true need for people and it’s even more beautiful when we also recognize people’s need for us. Never be a needy person for it makes you selfish and greedy. Yes to be whole and complete comes from within and through self love….but no man nor woman was intended to be an island. God did not create us that way; therefore, there is an innate need to commune with others. Engaging in real relations and true communing is a boomerang experience…! Although solitude is a necessity…none were created by God to live totally alone!

Sadly, the  forgotten art of communication exists! Too often many want to be heard but fail to hear…wanting others to speak to them but never willing to speak, never first speaking and don’t always speak back…! Many dictate and make demands but can’t handle and even refuse to acknowledge expectations from others! Always wanting to be accepted…though not willing to accept…! There is nothing relational nor communal with this…!

When we look in the mirror and look within…embracing self awareness, self love and self worth; and then reflect on what our desires and needs are…we will be able to gift and give to others the same because of what manifest from within!

We are one. It is time that we focus on our oneness…what we have in common! We all are creations of God…of one human race…our oneness as a culture….oneness as a community! When we choose to focus on our oneness…our commonalities, we will learn that there’s more we have in common than uncommon!

Love opens the door to communication and all love flows from and through self-love! When we learn to FLY, we will naturally FLO…! When you First Love Yourself…you can and will Freely Love Others!
